The Careers and Employability team at London Metropolitan University provides comprehensive support to students and graduates, helping them to explore career pathways, develop essential skills, and successfully navigate every stage of the recruitment process.

Students are supported in considering a wide range of future career pathways, including graduate employment, further study, freelancing, and starting a business. The team offers personalised guidance to help clarify your career goals, identify your strengths, and create practical action plans for life after graduation. Support is available for applications, CV writing, interviews, and assessment centres, ensuring you can confidently present your skills and experience to prospective employers. Advice is also provided on preparing for graduate roles, internships, volunteering opportunities, enterprise initiatives, and appropriate work placements as part of your course.

Sports

Staying active at London Met is easy, with excellent sports and fitness facilities available to students. The campuses offer gyms with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment, fitness studios, dance studios, a full-sized basketball court with scoreboard, and dedicated exercise rooms.

Students can take part in a wide range of fitness classes, as well as health and wellbeing activities such as personal training, mindfulness and yoga. Friendly staff are always on hand to help you get started and find activities that suit your lifestyle.

Are you passionate about capturing your experience as an international student? As London Metropolitan University ISC student, you can apply to become a Student Social Rep. This is a chance to represent student life by creating fun and inspiring content. From ‘Day in the Life’ vlogs to ‘Study With Me’ videos, you’ll showcase your experiences, inspire other students, and gain real content creation experience for your CV, all while having fun and connecting with fellow international students.
